Homerion Cultural Center

Chios is a land of culture and civilization. Throughout the year plenty of events of spiritual, scientific and artistic content are held. The Homerion Cultural Centre was founded in 1980 thanks to the generous donation of Michael and Stamatia Xyla. It is a multipurpose building consisting of an auditorium, conference hall, board room and exhibition galleries, which supports artistic and scientific trends. Also, various workshops function in the center where music lessons, theater, photography, painting, mosaic art, traditional dances etc are taught.
