Kardamyla

Kardamyla, is a place of great maritime history and ship owners. Close to the village square the old settlement Spilia can be seen and admired. The houses are mostly made of stone with narrow balconies. The churches of this area are rather famous. St. Loukas, the Ipapanti with its pebbled courtyard and Pera Panagia Monastery are some of them. Marmaro is the haven of the village. The nearby beaches are a lot, such as Vlychada, Nagos and Giosonas. Kardamyla celebrates on October 18th and February 2nd.
