Diefha

Diefha, a small mountainous village surrounded by olive trees, is built on the slopes of Mount Oros. A particularly important attraction is the old church of the Archangel and the parish church of the Transfiguration is celebrated on August 6th. A scenic road which begins at the end of the village passing through lush vegetation and water springs leads to the beautiful village of Katavasi. A visit to Moundon monastery is well worth it. It is close the village and the small though spectacular chapel inside honors the name of St John the Baptist. The most important celebration in Diefha village is on August 29th.
