Kallimasia

Kallimasia is a big village built on a green area surrounded by olive trees. The earthquake of 1881 affected the village of Kallimasia leaving only the ruins of its medieval towers and walls.
The churches are well preserved and the significant main temple of the village is Virgin Mary. Also, an other important site in Kallimasia is the Town Hall which served as a girls' school.
Some of the nearby beaches are Agios Emilianos and Agia Fotia. The village celebrates on August 8th at Agios Emilianos Beach and on August 15th.
