
Vavili is a small village mainly inhabited by farmers. The ornate doors of the houses bearing the crest of each family are truly impressive. Panagia Krina, a remarkable Byzantine church of the 13th century stands close to Vavili. Another special church of the one of Ypapanti. Also, a small museum with Byzantine ecclesiastical objects of inestimable value is located in the village. The church of Vavili is St Nicholas.
