Vasileioniko is a semi-mountainous village with lots of olive and almond trees. It is said that this was a place where kings lived and that's the reason why it is called Vasileioniko (vasilias=king). Nowadays, lots of ruined towers can be found in the village. The village church is St. George and the feast is celebrated on April 23rd.
