Halkios, located in a wooded area surrounded by almond, olive and citrus trees, is a large village with rich agricultural production. The Folk Museum of the village, housed in an old mill where traditional tools of occupations of the past are exposed, is definitely something worth seeing. Another impressive building is the former Town Hall of Kampochora (Kampos villages) which housed the Argentio school in the past. Some of the churches of the village St Paraskevi and the church of the Assumption. Also, the monastery of Agia Skepi is located almost at the entrance of the village.
